Big Green Radicals has put up three billboards featuring Robert Redford, Yoko Ono, and Lady Gaga on the Pennsylvania Turnpike as part of a new ad campaign showcasing the disconnect between celebrity environmental activists and the average American. These three celebrities were chosen because of their leading roles in lobbying to eliminate affordable energy sources that make modern life possible for American families. Such elimination would drive up energy prices and eliminate hundreds of thousands of good jobs. The billboards read:
- Robert Redford—“Demands green living. Flies on private jets.”
- Yoko Ono—“Would you take energy advice from the woman who broke up The Beatles?”
- Lady Gaga—“Would you take energy advice from a woman wearing a meat dress?”
